Friend can you spare a minute? I would like to tell you my story. About how I came to be here and why I need a new home. Once you hear all about me, maybe you will decide you would like to have me in your life, forever. Back in July, I was wandering in the country with my missus. We found a nice family who let us stay in an old oil barrel when the weather was bad, and even gave us a little to eat. However, when the puppies came, they said we had to go. The kids were only a week old when they called someone named Perry, who collected us all and brought us here. We were given our own private suite, plenty of fresh water and loads to eat. The kids are growing like crazy and depart soon for their new homes. Perry says it is time for me to find my own home too. I am a little cautious when we meet, but warm right up to your soothing words and friendly pats. I am a medium-sized dog, 39 pounds, handsome and quiet. In addition, boy do I love my puppy 'kids'. I am obedient, very smart, walk on a leash, have no bad habits, and just adore human attention. I will do best in a household with older, considerate children who will give me loads of love and my own special place in the home. I will be a loving, happy dog you will treasure for years and years. Can I count on you to take me home, forever?
